R-view 140: Aadukalam
Was reminded of Subramaniapuram, Paruthiveeran and Pudhupettai. But a fresh plot from the rural milieu of Madurai with detailed characters, melodious music and steady cinematography. Too much D.I. was a turn off. Dhanush and his 'big cock' steals the show! Must-watch.
R-view 140: Rakht Charitra II
Would have worked better if it was released along with the Part I. RGV returns as the director who made Phoonk, Contract and Aag with not much plot to play with and hence the crazy camera movements. Surya is almost wasted, with his extreme close-up eye shots, 5.5 packs, wanna be cool one liners etc. Exact same plot as the first part. The narrative starts sounding creepy!

R-view 140: Traffic
The Bobby-Sanjay scripting duo nails it again. An edge of the seat-dynamic thriller like never before. A first in Malayalam maybe. An amazing cast performing in control, riveting background score, invisible cuts, we have a winner! Rajesh Pillai delivers it slick. Dont feel like criticizing anything about it. Must-watch.
R-view 140: This Film Is Not Yet Rated
Docu. Shocking revelations on how the MPAA rating system works and how it can kill the true spirit of cinema. A rebellion, this documentary, with shades of an investigative thriller.
